The Donasonic Thunderstorm Single Shaft Shredder Series is a Pre-Shredding Machine for high throughput volumes. Massive, high-power, one shaft cutting mechanism with rotor and stator blades. If necessary, fitted with a hydraulic pushing unit, for problem-free processing of bulky materials at high throughputs. Specially designed built in screen for controlling the output material size. The Thunderstorm single shaft shredder is designed to tackle all types of bulky, comingled waste to produce a homogenous output stream perfect for separation and purification.
When used in conjunction with our custom designed MRF, it is able to reduce MSW and other bulk waste to consistent sizes at throughputs up to 50 T/hr. For different applications we choose from a variety of drive options, from high torque Geared Electromotor, to hydraulic drive units for extremely tough materials.

The Thunderstorm Single Shaft Shredder has an electronically controlled motion with automatic forward and backward to avoid blockages. Controlled by touch screen panel the Thunderstorm is designed with ease of use, consistent up-time and aggressive size reduction in mind.
The Thunderstorm is fitted with central lubrication to ensure the key maintenance is care free, while the IIOT Cloud connection can give live feedback and control to avoid inefficient maintenance – saving money in downtime and maximising your production.
